Vampire High ("the app") is a social party game published by Holden Holt. This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used. The short version: there are no accounts, and we collect as little as possible.
Display name. When you join or host a game you enter a display name. It is shared with the other players in that game so everyone can play together. It is not tied to your real identity and you can use any nickname.
Gameplay data. While a game is in progress, the app stores game state (the game code, players in the lobby, roles, votes, and actions) so the round works across everyone's phones. This is ordinary game data tied to a temporary game, not to you personally.
Purchases. If you unlock hosting, the purchase is processed by Apple and validated through our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive confirmation that the unlock is active, associated with an anonymous identifier — not your name, email, or payment details. Apple handles all payment information; we never see your card or Apple ID.
Camera. Hosting and joining can use your device camera to scan a game's QR code. Images are processed on-device to read the code and are not stored or transmitted.
No account, no login, no email or phone number, no contacts, no location, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or ad tracking.
Solely to run the game you're playing and to keep your hosting unlock active. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Game data is short-lived and exists only to run active and recent games. Display names live with their game record and are not used to build a profile of you.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because there is no account, the main data you provide is the nickname you choose for a game. You can request deletion of game records associated with you by contacting us below.
